One flat price. The visit ends when the water tests right, not when the clock says so.
Every litre out, then the shell and seats washed down. Scum line and biofilm come off before new water goes in.
Cartridges rinsed and checked for wear, with a note if one needs replacing. You are told before anything is replaced.
Refilled and corrected in order: alkalinity, then pH, then sanitizer. Granules are dissolved first, never dumped in.
Heater, pumps and jets confirmed running, readings written down. The report is yours to use with a guest, a buyer or an insurer.
No commitment. Book once and the tub is guest ready.

The reset. Every three months on an active rental, monthly on a high volume one. Plan members pay $175.
Our water is hard, and hard water leaves a mark.
The City of Calgary classes tap water as hard, 141 to 274 mg/L in 2025. That leaves scale on heaters and shells as the water cycles.
Every chemical addition and every bather leaves something behind. Water that tests in range can still feel wrong, and feel is what a review describes.
A tub used at minus twenty is used longer and hotter, and topped up from a cold hose. Cold weather does not slow the build up, it hides it.
Thirty guests in a month is thirty sets of oils, lotions and sweat. High volume tubs drain monthly.
A home tub used by the same people usually needs a drain and refill about every three months. A short term rental tub needs it every three months at the very minimum, and monthly when it is booked most of the month. The rule is simple: the more different people in the water, the shorter the interval. Our guide on how often to drain a hot tub has the reasoning.
Winter is when most Calgary tubs get used and when a drain is harder to do safely. An empty tub in sub zero air can freeze water left in the plumbing, so the visit is planned so the tub is never left empty and unheated. We drain, wash and refill in one visit and have the heater running before we leave. If a cold snap is forecast, say so when you book. More in our winter hot tub care guide.

The tub is the amenity guests photograph, and the one they review hardest. Calgary hosts get weekly water care, a written report every visit and a drain and refill on schedule.

Once the water is balanced and the startup check is done. The technician tells you when the tub is ready before leaving, and the written report records every reading so you know the water is safe to use.
Chemicals cannot remove what builds up in the water over time: dissolved solids, oils, lotions and the residue of past treatments. When water tests inside range but looks dull, foams or feels off, a fresh fill is the fix.
Often, yes. Start with a $45 test and balance to rule out a simple chemistry fault. If the water is past correcting, a $200 drain and refill resets it, and plan members pay $175.
