Airbnb Hot Tub
Rules For Hosts.
Clear rules cut the load on the water and the calls to your phone. Here is a list to copy.
Good Airbnb hot tub rules cover a posted maximum occupancy, no glass at the tub, a rinse before entering, the cover back on after use, quiet hours, no food or oils in the water, and what to do if the water looks or feels wrong. Post them in the listing and at the tub. Rules lower the load on the water but do not replace a service schedule.
Rules To Copy Into Your Listing
- Maximum occupancy posted at the tub, set by the manufacturer capacity.
- No glass at or in the tub. Use plastic.
- Rinse before entering. Lotion, oils, makeup and sunscreen stay out of the water.
- No food, no pets, no children without an adult.
- Cover on and latched after every use.
- Quiet hours at the tub after a set time, matching your local noise rules.
- No chemicals added by guests. Message the host about the water instead.
- If the water looks cloudy, foamy or smells off, do not use the tub and message the host.
Safety Notes To Include
- A plain note about temperature, and that anyone with a medical condition or who is pregnant should check with a doctor before soaking.
- Do not use alone, and not after alcohol.
- Show where the emergency power off is.
Rules Reduce The Load, A Schedule Fixes The Water
Even with perfect guests, a rental tub gets a new group every few nights. The load is what it is. A weekly water test and a drain and refill every three months at the minimum, monthly for a busy tub, is what keeps the water guest ready. See Airbnb hot tub maintenance in Calgary.
