DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON.
A Memecoin That Lives On Bitcoin Itself.

It was airdropped on the fourth day of the Runes protocol, to people who already held something else, and every one of the hundred billion tokens went out at once.

DOG•GO•TO•THE•MOON is a memecoin on Bitcoin, issued through the Runes protocol. It was airdropped on 24 April 2024 to holders of the Runestone ordinal, each receiving 889,806 DOG, from a fixed supply of one hundred billion. It reached $0.0099237 on 11 December 2024. Bridged copies exist on Solana and Starknet.

What DOG Is

The token itself, and where it came from.

What It Is

DOG is a fungible token issued directly on Bitcoin through the Runes protocol, not on a separate chain. It has no function beyond being held and traded.

Origin

Created by the pseudonymous developer Leonidas using Runes, the Bitcoin token protocol built by Casey Rodarmor, the creator of Ordinals. Holders of the Runestone ordinal as of 21 April 2024 received 889,806 DOG each on 24 April 2024, days after the Bitcoin halving on 20 April. Source: Crypto Briefing, 25 April 2024.

Supply

Fixed supply of 100,000,000,000 tokens, all of it circulating from the airdrop. Rune id 840000:3. Bridged copies exist on Solana and Starknet. Source: CoinGecko, read 19 September 2026.

Event 1

The whole supply went out in one airdrop on 24 April 2024: 889,806 DOG to each Runestone holder as of the 21 April snapshot. There was no sale and no launchpad. Source: Crypto Briefing.

Event 2

Within a day it passed a $540 million market capitalisation, up 73 per cent in 24 hours. Source: Crypto Briefing, 25 April 2024.

Event 3

The Runestone ordinal it was airdropped against fell from 0.07 BTC to 0.027 BTC in the week after the snapshot was announced, a 61.5 per cent drop. Holders got the token and gave back most of what the ordinal had been worth. Source: Crypto Briefing.

Event 4

Runes launched with the halving and in the first six days accounted for 63.6 per cent of all Bitcoin transactions, with users paying 2,113 BTC, about $136 million, in fees. Source: Crypto Briefing.

Event 5

It set its all time low on 24 June 2026, more than two years after launch. The bottom is recent, not historical. Source: CoinGecko.

The Risks

Structural, and specific to this token.

Risk 1

It trades mainly as a Bitcoin Rune, which most wallets and exchanges do not support natively. The Solana and Starknet versions are bridged copies with their own contract risk.

Risk 2

The creator is pseudonymous. There is no accountable entity behind it.

Risk 3

It was about 88.5 per cent below its December 2024 high on 19 September 2026, and set its all time low in June 2026.

Risk 4

There is no live chart on this page on purpose. The only pool that feeds the chart source here is a thin bridged copy on Solana, and drawing that as if it were the main market would misrepresent where DOG actually trades.

Supply, all time highs and all time lows from CoinGecko, read on 19 September 2026. Origin and events from the publications named in each row, with their dates. Where two sources give different supply figures, both are printed and each is named. Nothing on these pages is a price forecast.

No. Memecoins have no cash flows and most go to zero. Cody Wise is not a licensed advisor.

A Memecoin Is Not
A Position.

The sleeve is sized so a total loss changes nothing about the plan. That is the only condition under which it belongs at all.
