Wise STR
I Do Not Just Run The Operation.
I Wrote The Software It Runs On.
Wise STR is the internal platform behind Wise Property Management. Role based access, one login per person. A cleaner sees her jobs and nothing else. I see the whole portfolio.
Wise STR runs at app.codywise.io. It is the internal operations platform behind Wise Property Management. Cleaners, hot tub technicians and maintenance contractors log every job in it with photos, time and date. It is built for one operation and is not sold as a product.
Eight Modules
Every part of a turnover has somewhere to live, so nothing is decided over text message.
Properties
Listings, owner contacts, and iCal sync across every platform.
Cleaning
Turnover tasks assigned by room, with photo verification and live status.
Maintenance
Work orders logged by category, priority, cost, and the technician who closed them.
Hot Tub Logs
Chemical readings, service notes, and the full history per property.
Payroll
Contractor invoicing on configurable rates, with payout tracking.
Photo Uploads
Before and after photos on any task, so the record exists before it is needed.
Analytics
Revenue, occupancy, and operational load across the portfolio.
Team
Role based access for admins, managers, cleaners and technicians.
Inside The Platform
Four screens from the running app. Drag, or use the arrows. Sample data throughout: guest names, one property name and every figure were replaced before the screenshot, because a live operation is not a demo.
How A Turnover Moves Through It
One booking, five records, no group chat.
The Booking Lands
A turnover is created with the check out and check in times on it, and it shows up on the home screen under today or the next fourteen days.
The Clean Is Assigned
It goes to a cleaner, who signs in and sees her jobs and nothing else. No portfolio, no owner contacts, no revenue.
Photos Close It Out
The turnover carries before and after photos. Each check is accepted or declined, and the record is marked verified only when the photos are in.
Anything Broken Becomes A Ticket
A work order is filed by category with an estimate on it, against the property, and stays open until the technician closes it.
The Hot Tub Gets Written Down
Bromine, pH and alkalinity at every visit, with the chemicals added, so the next reading is compared to a number rather than a memory.
Why It Exists
Software was cheaper than the alternative, which was carrying the whole operation in my head.
Evidence Before Billing
Every turnover carries before and after photos, so an invoice is defensible line by line.
The AirCover Problem, Solved Early
A damage claim needs proof of condition. The evidence a claim asks for already exists by the time it is filed.
One Login Per Person
Role based views mean a contractor sees the work in front of them and nothing about the portfolio.
The Operation Is Visible
Revenue, occupancy and operational load in one place, so a decision is made on a number, not a feeling.
Built For Every Role
One login per person. Each role sees the work in front of them and nothing else.
Admin
Every module, user management, and the full financial picture.
Manager
The portfolio view, without the account level controls.
Cleaner
Assigned jobs, status updates, verification photos, and hot tub checks.
Technician
Assigned tickets, progress, job photos, and scheduled maintenance dates.
The Operation Runs On It.
So Does The Owner Report.
If you want your short term rental run this way, the management side is where that starts.
