Own The Rails

Six positions, all published by name. The rule behind them is that infrastructure outlives the applications built on it.
Card reading Own The Rails. Not The Ride. Six positions, all published by name.

Crypto

I hold six crypto positions and they are all published by name with the reasoning attached on the crypto hub. Solana, Bitcoin, Sui, Zcash, Render and Jupiter.

What they have in common is not a sector or a narrative. It is a layer.

The Layer Is The Thesis

The base position is infrastructure, not applications. Chains and compute outlast whatever is built on top of them this cycle.

Applications are where the attention goes and where the turnover is. The winning app of one cycle is frequently a footnote in the next one, and picking it early requires being right about a product, a team and a market at the same time.

The layer underneath has a lower ceiling and a much longer life. Whatever gets built next still needs a chain to settle on, compute to run on and a router to fill against.

What Each One Is Held For

Solana is the layer one, and it is held because it is the chain most of the consumer app volume actually runs on. Bitcoin is the reserve asset of the category, held rather than traded.

Sui is a layer one that executes independent transactions in parallel, so a transfer does not queue behind an unrelated one. Zcash is privacy at the protocol level, where zero knowledge proofs let a transaction settle without publishing who sent what to whom.

Render is rented GPU power for AI, 3D and VFX work, drawn from cards that would otherwise sit idle. Jupiter is the routing layer under Solana DeFi, splitting a swap across every major venue so the fill beats what any single one would give.

Every one of those is a sentence about what the thing does, not about what it might be worth. If a position cannot survive being described that plainly, it is not a position.

One Chain, On Purpose

Mixing chains turns a table into a popularity contest between ecosystems instead of a useful view of one market.

Everything published on the crypto side of the site is Solana. That is an editorial rule as much as a portfolio one. Bitcoin is still the larger holding in the crypto bucket, and the published tables are about where the activity is, not where all the value is.

Covering one chain properly beats covering five badly. The memecoin table and the NFT table both refresh hourly from CoinGecko and Magic Eden, fetched server side by the site so your browser never talks to a third party to load either one.

It Sits Inside The Company

The crypto is held by Wise Capital Inc., the holding company, rather than inside the operating businesses. Structure first, then the asset, for the same reason the property is held there.

Positions are published. Sizes are not. No dollar figure appears anywhere on the site and the allocation chart is labelled illustrative ratio, because that is what it is.

I am not a financial advisor and nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell anything.

Common Questions

What does own the rails mean?

It means the base position is infrastructure rather than applications. Chains, compute and routing outlast whatever gets built on top of them in any given cycle, and picking the winning app requires being right about a product, a team and a market at once.

Which crypto positions are published?

Six: Solana, Bitcoin, Sui, Zcash, Render and Jupiter. Each one is named with a sentence on what it actually does rather than on what it might be worth.

Why is everything on the site Solana?

Because covering one chain properly beats covering five badly, and mixing chains turns a table into a popularity contest between ecosystems. Bitcoin is still the larger holding in the crypto bucket.

Where does the live table data come from?

CoinGecko for the memecoin table and Magic Eden for the NFT table, both fetched server side by the site and cached for an hour. Your browser never talks to a third party to load either one.

Who holds the crypto?

Wise Capital Inc., the holding company, rather than the operating businesses that sign contracts and carry the liability. Structure first, then the asset.
